Gladiator Sandals: REVAMPED!

Just about every fashion conscious individual out there is aware of the whole gladiator sanal trend that has raged through department stores, runways, and magazines worldwide. But here is the problem with such a well known trend: every single pair begins to look the same. It's just a world of gladiators with the same old vibe and colors, just merging into one another like a big blob of Roman remembrance. Scary Movies and Trunk Shows

Everybody likes a good scary movie once in a while, right? Well, apparently not me. This past weekend, I went to see the movie Knowing with three of my closest pallies. Yeah, bad idea. It was kind of creepy to start out, this little elementary school girl hears whispering numbers and ends up in some basement scratching them into the door with her fingernails. Oh, but that was just the beginning! This kid about 10 years later finds her list of numbers and starts getting whispered to! It was very scary with tons of frightening mood music (I really hate that) and fire and evil/scary/-ness. Needless to say, we fled the theater screaming about an hour into the movie. :( I had complications sleeping that night.
On a lighter, less frightening note, the Juicy Couture and Christian Louboutin trunk shows have got me predictiong a very desirable fashion forecast! Here are my favorites from each show:

Lunch Detention and Manolo Blahnik

Alas, the few minutes between classes has gotten the better of me. I arrived in my Pre-Algebra class 2 minutes late yesterday because I had to retrieve the GIGANTIC book needed for the class from my locker (which is downstairs from the class by the way). So anyway I guess my teacher was having a bad day (she always is) and she gave me a lunch detention. :( Sniff Sniff. It was extremely awkward. Just me and about 5 other people, one of which being one of my close friends sitting around doing nothing and bashing the teachers that had sent us here during our much needed social time. But it gets better. My Pre-Algebra teacher comes out and gives me ANOTHER lunch detention for Monday for trying to explain why I was late that morning (clock in Social Studies class was 3 minutes slow, friend who was in Social Studies comes out and reminds me to get book, hence my tardiness) she claims I was trying to decieve her by making her believe it was I who was in S.S., not my friend. I hate lying. I didn't lie. Horror of all horrors, I've been accused of a crime I did not commit! It doesn't help that said teacher is somewhat depressed with life and I have a hunch she schedules who she plans on torturing by the day..... oh well. Time to focus on something that brings me joy in the midst of this fiasco. Manolo Blahnik's absoloutely superb new Spring Collection. A few that caught my eye:
